FIELD: catalyst production. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at depositing catalytically active metal particles or films on surface of monoblock ceramic carriers. Method, in particular, involves applying composition containing platinum group metal dispersed in organic constituent followed by heating and firing. More specifically, superdispersed metal deposited on crystals of naphthalene serving as organic constituent is used, wherein silver, gold or their alloys are additionally utilized as superdispersed metals.
