FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: composition containing ultra-dispersed silver produced by reduction of silver nitrate with lithium naphtalide in tetrahydrophurane and isolated on crystals of naphthalene - organic binder with sizes of particles of silver in maximum of intrafractional distribution of 4-6 nm is applied on backing made from polymethylmethacrylate with the use of putty knife. Backing is placed into heating cabinet and is heated to temperature of about ~ 100 C. At temperature ≥, 28 C composition gets liquid and uniformly distributes over backing. Then backing is kept in heating cabinet approximately ~ 10 min. In the course of this time naphthalene is removed from backing and layer of particles of particles of ultra-dispersed metal with residual organic phase absorbed on their surfaces is left on backing. Layer has color of graphite. Then backing is taken out of heating cabinet, cooled to room temperature and is placed into solvent - dimehtylformamide for 40 min. After treatment with solvent layer of deposited metal acquires metal luster. Backing is dried in heating cabinet at temperature ≅ 120 C. As a result silver coat on backings from ceramics, glass and polymers is manufactured. EFFECT: simplified process and expanded technological capabilities of it. 1 tbl
