SUBSTANCE: described are new 2,6-disubstituted pyridines or 2,4- disubstituted pyrimidines of general formula I wherein X is oxygen atom; Z is NH or CH; A is phenyl substituted by fluorine atom or trifluoromethyl group, pyridyl substituted by chlorine atom, pyrazolyl substituted by trifluoromethyl and methyl group of methyl and tert-butyl group; difluorobenzodioxolyl, each of R¹ is independently group selected from hydrogen atom, halogen atom, lower alkyl, lower alkylthio, lower alkoxy; R² each is independently group selected from hydrogen atom; m is 1-2, n is 0-2 provided that if A is 1-methyl-3- trifluoromethylpyrazol-5-yl group; n is 0; X is oxygen atom; Z is CH, then R² is other than hydrogen, 3-trifluoromethyl or 2,4-dichlorine or 2,4-dimethyl. Compounds have herbicidal activity. Also described are method of preparing compounds of formula I, herbicidal activity based on said compounds and method of controlling undesired vegetation.
