FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has control circuit using desired algorithm and power equipment control circuit. Control unit in the form of single- chip microprocessor shapes signals according to charging algorithm and line synchronization to control adjustable rectifiers connected in parallel opposition. Storage battery is connected to rectifiers and functions as their load. Some of plates of current-limiting capacitors are connected to supply mains and remaining ones, to adjustable rectifiers. Current limiting during charge and discharge periods makes it possible to dispense with phase control. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and facilitated manufacture of device. 1 dwg
