FIELD: domestic appliances. SUBSTANCE: oven has working chamber provided with opening, front panel that dictates outline of this opening, and door for opening and closing mentioned opening. Door has shielding panel made of microwave-ray impenetrable material incorporating contact section that contacts front panel when door is closed, and set of slits made on contact section to prevent leakage of microwave radiation through gap between front panel and contact section. Slits may be arranged along outline of entire contact section at least in two rows and equally spaced apart; slits of first row are alternating with those of second row. Slits may be likewise arranged on contact section and on front panel. Door shielding panel may be grounded. EFFECT: provision for preventing leakage of microwave radiation from oven. 18 cl, 16 dwg
