FIELD: medicine, particularly, obstetrics. SUBSTANCE: method includes training of diaphragmatic respiration using biological feedback with respect to heart rate under control of maximum heart rate at inhalation and in training of use of this respiration. Patient breathes diaphragmatically first with expiration equal to inhalation, then with breath holding at inhalation. Periods of such breathing are alternated with the rest periods. Duration of breathing periods and rest is regulated depending on periods of labor. Method allows more objective control for course of preparing pregnant woman for labor.
