FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention essence: surface of porcelains is coated with willemite glaze, forced crystallization centres, which are inoculants received by pressing method, are injected into certain points of glazed porcelains surface, and baking takes place. Baking is made by means of heating up to 1220-1300°C, exposure to this temperature for 5-20 minutes, cooling down to 1000-1150°C with exposure to this temperature for 20-180 minutes and further cooling. In order to achieve high decorative properties of porcelains, additional operations are used, such as porcelain stuff dying and using multilayer dyed porcelain, upper layer of which is cut down to the lower porcelain layer of different colour in accordance with planned design. At that the result is highly artistic items with design that corresponds to author's intention, where outstanding spherulites with multicoloures centres that might differ from the background colour and the cut ornament, supplementing each other, create a unified composition. At that outstanding spherulite crystals of willemite might cover from 10 to 100 % of surface area coated with glaze. For decorative coating willemite glaze is used, the main composition of which is related to system SiO2-Al2O3-ZnO-K2O-BaO or to system SiO2-Al2O3-ZnO-Na2O-TiO2. In order to expand colour spectrum it is possible to introduce dyes into frit composition: dyeing metal oxides or pigments.
EFFECT: increases decorative properties of items.
