FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coats on metal or ceramic cellular elements/filters and can be used for production of catalytic neutralizers of motor car used gases. System for application of liquid coatings has substrates composed of cylindrical carrier cases with two end surfaces, over outer side surface, over axial line and over multiple channels extending from first end surface to second end surface. System comprises cylinder filled with liquid and provided with piston to communicate with vessel. Displacer is arranged inside said vessel to be displaced at piston motion by fluid in appropriate proportion therewith. Said vessel communicates with the device for coat application on said substrate. Displacer acts on fluid for coat application which causes proportional fluid level variation in coat applicator. Besides, this invention covers the method implemented with the help of this system, products thus made and their applications.
EFFECT: efficient application, decreased wear of coats with high abrasive effects.
