FIELD: flour-milling industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning rye from contaminants; conditioning; staged grinding, crushing and sorting of ground products; separating grits in first, second and following batten systems; grinding grits and sorting milled products. Grits separated in first and second batten systems are milled separately. Grits separated in second batten have particles of 300-800 micron size and ash content of 1.45-1.80%. These particles are milled to obtain product with 60-80% of particles of at least 450 micron size. Obtained product is sorted together with milled product separated in first batten system.
