FIELD: public utilities and industry. SUBSTANCE: plant has waste pre-drying unit and reactor built up of pyrolysis chamber and electric melting furnace abutting against it to form single gas space. Secondary combustion and exit gas cleaning units are placed along flue gas flow path upstream of scrubber-cooler; they are made in the form of thermochemical reactor with metal casing lined inside with refractory material and divided by means of vertical partitions into three chambers. Secondary combustion chamber which is first along exit gas flow path on side of casing wall, at its bottom, communicates with gas conduit and gas space of pyrolysis chamber. Oxidizing agent feeding nozzle is mounted above gas conduit entrance to secondary combustion chamber. Second chamber communicates with secondary combustion chamber through hole in top part of vertical partition and with third chamber through hole in bottom part of other partition; it is provided with chemicals feeding unit designed for cleaning gases from acids and their anhydrides. The third chamber is provided with chemicals feeding unit designed to reduce nitrogen oxides and with heat exchanger for air heating; this chamber communicates with scrubber-cooler. EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas cleaning, reduced heat loss and power requirement for waste combustion; reduced metal input and manufacturing cost. 1 dwg
