FIELD: reworking of solid domestic, industrial, medical and other wastes; various industries and public services. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preliminary drying of wastes, pyrolysis of dried wastes with separation into solid residue and gases, high-temperature treatment solid residue and gases of pyrolysis in slag-and-metal melt at presence of compounds of alkali-earth metals in heat-treating furnace bath. Waste gases of preliminary drying and pyrolysis gases in heat-treating furnace bath are directed to reactor for reburning. Preliminary drying is effected by gas reburning products. Pyrolysis of wastes is effected at temperature of 700 to 900 C and air flow coefficient of 0.5 to 0.6 and treatment of solid residue and pyrolysis gases in melt is effected at temperature of 1300 to 1400 C and air flow coefficient of 1.05 to 1.2. Preliminary drying and reburning of gases in reactor are effected in reactor at presence of neutralizing reagents - compounds of alkali-earth metals.
