FIELD: shaped rolled products, particularly, transport and railroad rails. SUBSTANCE: shaped rolled products are made from iron-base alloy containing carbon, silicon, manganese and, if needed, chromium, elements forming complex carbide and elements affecting the conditions of material conversion, and/or alloying microadditives, and the balance, iron and common impurities appearing during process of manufacture, with structure of cross-section produced partially due to accelerated cooling from region of alloy austenite into region of lower intermediate stage or lower bainite. This structure is produced by method in which conditions of alloy conversion are determined and then, conversion of material of rolled product is effected, and least, partially at temperature between point of martensite conversion and value exceeding it maximum by 250 C. EFFECT: high resistance to attrition of rail produced by claimed method. 15 cl, 6 dwg
