FIELD: fire alarm equipment which responds to gases emitted by burning materials. SUBSTANCE: device has measuring chamber, which contains primary transducer which is made from semiconductor porous ceramics. Ends of spiral which runs through primary transducer are connected to heating unit and unit for measuring and alarming. Walls of measuring chamber provide input of convective flows from environment and are equipped with magnetic system which generates sharply non-uniform magnetic field for shielding sensitive layer of primary transducer from aerosols of different types, in particular, those produced by burning materials.
