FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing corrosion inhibitors for ferrous metals in aqueous and wetted hydrogen sulfide-containing media designed basically for protection of oil-production equipment operated in contact with mineralized hydrogen sulfide-containing formation and waste waters. Method consists in mixing alkylphenols, amines, and formaldehyde, heating the mixture, and aging it to form condensation products. According to invention, reaction is carried out in presence of, as catalyst, polyoxyethylenated alkylphenol with general formula , wherein R is aliphatic radical and n=6-7, and formaldehyde is used in the form of its 30-40% aqueous solution.
