FIELD: transceiver antennas for various stationary, mobile, and portable radio systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna operating at electromagnetic wave frequencies in very-high-, ultrahigh-, and superhigh-frequency bands has its electric dipole enclosed in ferroelectric ceramic cylinder of radius a possessing high relative dielectric constant ε1, which makes it possible to reduce electric length of radiator times compared with free space. For antenna re-tuning to other frequency bands, DC voltage supply is connected to gate electrode grids located on butt ends of ferroelectric ceramic cylinder. Antenna can be re-tuned within comprehensive frequency band while maintaining a/λ1 ratio constant by superposing external magnetic filed that changes relative dielectric constant ε1= f(E=,ω), determining value of λ1 with geometric dimensions being constant. EFFECT: reduced size and improved efficiency of antenna. 3 dwg frequency bands
