FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, steelmaking. SUBSTANCE: method involves discharging steel from converter into ladle; cutting off slag during discharge of melt from converter into ladle; feeding slag-forming materials, ferrous alloys and carburizer; blasting melt with neutral gas supplied through submersible tuyere; providing deoxidation of melt with aluminum in ladle; feeding pelletized aluminum during melt supplying at feeding rate of 0.4-2 kg/t of metal, slag-forming materials, such as lime and spar, at total feeding rate of 4.2-15.0 kg/t of metal and ratio of components of 3.5/1-4.5/1; blasting melt with neutral gas at flow rate of 0.001-0.0045 cub m/t/min; feeding aluminum in the form of wire rod in 1-2 min after initiation of blasting process and without stopping it, with aluminum wire rod feeding rate being within the range of 0.4-1.7 kg/t of metal and feeding time of 1-4 min; continuing blasting with neutral gas for 2-6 min at the same flow rate. Method allows steel with silicon content of up to 0.07% and sulfur content of up to 0.025% and below this value to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of steel. 1 tbl, 5 ex
