FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, steel treatment with solid slag mixtures in course of steel tapping from metal melting unit into casting ladle. SUBSTANCE: slag mixture contains aluminum granules, calcium carbide, line in the form of lumps partially calcined with 2-20% of limestone and fluorspar contained in lumps. Fraction composition ratio of slag mixture components is the following: lime:fluorspar = 0.125-5.0; lime:aluminum = 0.3-7.2; lime-calcium carbide = 0.1-5.0. Slag mixture contains the following amount of components, wt. %: lime, 30-80; aluminum, 1-30; calcium carbide, 0.5-35; fluospar, the balance. EFFECT: higher efficiency of steel desulfurization during steel tapping from steel melting unit into casting ladle. 1 cl, 1 tbl, 5 ex
