FIELD: application of coats by electrolytic method with use of pulsating current, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed process protecting autoclave against corrosion consists in submersion of electrodes, one of which being coated article, into electrolytic solution and in passing of pulses of current through them. Salient feature of invention lies in usage of solution after hydrothermal synthesis of quartz in the capacity of electrolytic solution. This solution is heated to temperature of 80-90 C beforehand and nanosecond unipolar pulses of current of high power are transmitted through electrodes. For example, there are used unipolar pulses of current having duration of 0.2 ns with repetition frequency of 1.0 kHz and power 1.0 MW. Internal surface of autoclave is used as coated surface. EFFECT: increased corrosion resistance of coat with simultaneous reduction of cost of process thanks to decreased energy consumption.
