FIELD: forming anticorrosive coats by electrolytic methods by means of pulsating current; chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes immersion of electrodes in electrolytic solution; article to be coated is used as one of electrodes. Then single-polarity millimicrosecond pulses at power more than 100 Kw are passed through them. Article to be coated may be made from steel and electrolytic solution may contain chromium or zinc ions. Single-polarity positive pulses at duration of 0.2 ns, power of 1 MW and repetition frequency of 1 kHz are passed; total duration of process ranges from 200 to 2000 s. EFFECT: considerable reduction of rate of corrosion. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
