FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine fuel systems with fuel controlled by control unit. SUBSTANCE: if control unit reveals that, depending on measured values, system should be filled with fuel, it sets fuel pump into operation to provide sufficient filling-in before starting internal combustion engine. If control unit reveals normal starting, it operates fuel pump in ordinary manner. Change-over from temporary to normal control of fuel pump depends also on revealed interruption conditions. Using this method fuel system of internal combustion engine can be reliably filled-in without starting the engine, and in case of emergency fuel supply is cut off quickly to prevent flowing out of fuel. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 6 cl, 2 dwg
