FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves filling part of can volume with seeds; adding water into can; closing can neck with gauze; incubating seeds in can under water; discharging water; overturning can and providing further incubation; putting overturned can with its neck portion into tray filled with water. Seeds are incubated in can for semi-diurnal period of time at temperature of 23-25 C. When it is time for germs to appear, spring water is used. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for eliminating seed rotting. 3 cl, 1 tbl
