METHOD OF DIAGNOSIS OF MYOCARDIAL INSUFFICIENCY IN ACQUIRED VASCULAR DISEASES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, functional diagnoses. SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of relaxation phases of myocardium of left ventricle during operation of patients with acquired vascular disease with the help of open heart system; determination of contractile state of muscular fibers of subendocardial layer. In case of its value exceeding 1.3, latent form of myocardium insufficiency is diagnosed. Method allows detection of early acute intramyocardial insufficiency of left ventricle which develops in patient's with heart diseases against background of hyperfunction of left ventricle and show during the first period early clinical manifestation. Assessment of intracardiac hemodynamics makes it possible to timely detect latent form of cardiac insufficiency and to decrease terms of patient staying in cardioreanimation.
