SUBSTANCE: rod-type compression-distraction apparatus has movable and stationary frames shaped as arcs with holes and coupled by tie-rods positioned orthogonally to plane of arcs. Tie-rods are round with thread at their ends. They carry holders with intraosseous rods. Reposition assembly is arranged between frames. Intraosseous rods are made smooth. In additional, apparatus includes removable facility for axial motion of intraosseous rods. Reposition assembly uses detachable rotary mechanism made as screw clamp. Its clamp may be secured on tie-rod, and clamping screw may be attached to arc with slots by means of bracket made as captive nut with eye positioned between two nuts.
