FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for controlling weight portion of saccharose in sugar production solutions (syrups and intercrystalline liquors of massecuites). According to method, high-frequency measurement of dielectric characteristics of solution at fixed temperature is performed, in particular, value of total tangent of angle of dielectric losses of measuring cell with solution under investigation is measured. At the same temperature, value of active conductance of solution is measured and measuring weight portion of saccharose in solution is carried out in conformity to regressive model which relates: weight portion of saccharose in solution, tangent of angle of dielectric losses, and active conductance. EFFECT: increased control accuracy, reduced labor-intensity, and expanded functional possibilities of determining saccharose in different-purity sugar production solutions involving combination of dielectric and conductometric characteristics. 1 tbl
