FIELD: has industry; applicable in measuring of flow rate of phases of gas-liquid mixture without flow separation. SUBSTANCE: device includes laser source of light, transmitting objective lens consisting of beam divider and lens system, receiving objective lens and signal processing unit. Device is additionally provided with protective window made of transparent material, for instance, quartz glass. Introduced into processing unit are units of registration of pulse length of scattered light of the first and second countable volumes, and unit of registration of scattered light pulse intensity, which are connected with unit of registration of delay between pulses of scattered light of the first and second countable volumes. Processing unit is connected to measuring device. Method is realized by measurement of velocity of particles of different sizes by two beams forming in gas flow of two countable volumes, and distance between these volumes presents the base of measurement. Then, registered by two photodetectors are moments of flying of particles through boundaries of countable volumes, length of pulse and intensity of light scattered by particles are measured and quantity of particles in gas flow are registered. Concentration of liquid and solid particles is determined by offered mathematical expression. EFFECT: extended functional potentialities due to obtaining information on velocity, sizes and quantity of particles in gas-liquid flow, and reduced technogenic load on environment. 2 cl, 1 dwg
