FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking venous blood serum samples. Infrared spectroscopy analysis is carried out in the bandwidth of 1200-1000 cm-1, absorption band peak heights are determined with their maximums being at 1170, 1165, 1140 and 1070 cm-1, to calculate T value as ratio of peak height at 1170 to one at 1140 and R value as ratio of peak height at 1165 to one at 1070. The value of T being from 0.05 to 0.3 and R from 0.2 to 0.7, the patient state is evaluated as extremely heavy with unfavorable prognosis. The value of T being from 0.8 to 1.45 and R from 0.3 to 1.1, the patient state is evaluated as moderate degree of severity with dubious prognosis. The value of T being from 1.46 to 2.6 and R from 0.36 to 1.1, the patient state is evaluated as satisfactory with favorable prognosis. The value of T being from 2.61 and higher and R from 0.36 to 0.95, the patient state is evaluated as satisfactory with favorable prognosis. EFFECT: higher level of evaluation objectivity.
