METHOD OF PROGNOSTICATION OF LOSS OF WORKING CAPACITY IN CASE OF MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, cardiology for prognostication of loss of working capacity after myocardial infarction. SUBSTANCE: method includes the following procedures after hospitalization of patient with myocardial infarction: determination of level of peroxide oxidation of lipoids; registration of patient's age and presence or absence in patient of artery hypertension; calculation of prognostic coefficient by formula: K=-0.1635 + 0.014651 x X1 + 0.14759 x X2 + 0.001847 x X3, where K is prognostic coefficient; X1 is patient's age; X2 is presence or absence of arterial hypertension (1 - none; 2 - mild form; 3 - moderate form; 4 - severe from); X3 is level of peroxide oxidation of lipoids at time of patient's hospitalization. If K exceeds 1.3, high probability of stable loss of working capacity is prognosticated. EFFECT: higher accuracy of prognostication in severe cases in patient's and application of modern technique for determination of peroxide oxidation of lipoids safe for patient's health.
