METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF UNFAVOURABLE OUTCOME OF UNSTABLE ANGINA Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B10/00 A61B5/402

Abstract RU 2440033 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly cardiology. In patients with unstable angina (UA), the electrocardiogram characteristics are recorded and analysed, the clinical course of UA is typed ( type I - first emersed angina, type II - increased angina frequency with or without changing its nature, type III - chronic angina attack for more than 20 minutes, nitrate resistant). The presence or absence of diabetes in history is stated. A place of treating UA (specialised or unspecialised hospital) is determined. A probability of unfavourable outcome of UA is determined by original formula that uses the values calculated above.

EFFECT: method is simple, can be used for the pre-hospital stage.
