FIELD: electric measurement technology, contactless monitoring and control over current. SUBSTANCE: method of current monitoring consists in positioning of magnetic circuit into magnetic field formed by conductor with monitored current. Ultrasonic oscillations are entered into magnetic ferrite circuit in direction perpendicular to lines of intensity of magnetic field of conductor with current. Amplitude of oscillations passed through magnetic circuit is measured and used to detect presence or absence of current in conductor. EFFECT: full electric decoupling of measured object and measuring instrument thanks to registration of absorption of ultrasonic waves in ferrite material under influence of magnetic field. 1 dwg
