FIELD: reactors for coking of oil residues by method of slow-down coking. SUBSTANCE: reactor has cylindrical body provided with upper bottom plate with hatch for withdrawal of vapor phase of coking process and introduction of tool for unloading of coke, and with lower bottom plate with hatch accommodating branch pipes for supply of heated raw material. Axes of branch are inclined upward at angle of 0-60 deg to horizontal and oppositely displaced with respect to diametral plane of reactor at distance of 1.0-1.75 of their diameter.
