FIELD: methods and devices for reduction of content of nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: exhaust gas and reagent sprayed in exhaust gas by means of compressed air are supplied to catalyst. Internal combustion engine has blower for supply of air to engine and branch pipe through which a part of compressed air is supplied to jet for spraying of reagent. Sprayed reagent together with exhaust gas subject to neutralization is directed to catalyst which serves to reduce content of nitrogen oxides, particularly, by method of selective catalytic reaction. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for installation of special blower for supply of compressed air to jet. 11 cl, 3 dwg
