FIELD: communication. SUBSTANCE: method and transmission and reception device are intended to transmit and receive logic signals in response to entry of outside digital data and control signals. Standard circuit transmitting first and second reference signals is common for circuit of generation and reception of signal. Signal generation circuit incorporates signal source coupled to transmission line for generation of digital signal with variable level, circuit for matching and commutation of reference level ( circuit RLA/S ) which responds to entry of digital data and first reference signal. Circuit RLA/S is coupled to signal source for selection of level of digital signal of variable level and for transmission of commutation signal. Output of signal source is matched and commutated so that signal source generates digital signal into transmission line and after this digital data with selected level of output signal are entered. Signal reception circuit has circuit with variable input resistance coupled to transmission line which reacts to second reference signal for reception of digital signals with variable level from transmission line. In addition it includes detection circuit connected for reception of digital signals of variable level from circuit with variable input impedance. Detection circuit responds to first reference signal and detects logic states of digital signals of variable level in correspondence with first reference signal. Besides this detection circuit converts detected logic states to corresponding signals of certain output levels specified in advance. EFFECT: increased accuracy of reception of signals. 14 cl, 11 dwg
