FIRE-INTERCEPTION FENDER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, in particular, fire-shielding equipment used for preventing fire from spreading in oil tank storages. SUBSTANCE: fire interception fender has casing and fire-shielding member made by winding flat and corrugated tapes onto common spindle. Each tape has at least one row of notches extending along the whole length of tape and made in the form slits. Notches are oriented along long side of each tape and are not communicated one with the other. EFFECT: increased efficiency in fire interception and simplified construction. 3 cl, 5 dwg
