FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly in reservoirs used for oil and oil product storage and transportation.

SUBSTANCE: fire-barrier comprises solid body with air-tight interior. The body is made as rectangular frame separated with partition into rectangular sections. Fire-barrier member bags are placed in the sections. Fire barrier comprises heating member and bag compaction device. Bag compacting device, body and partition are made of material having increased heat conductivity. Body walls are hollow and define rectangular or U-shaped cross-sections. The walls are provided with orifices arranged along outer body perimeter and communicated with ambient space. Partition between sections is hollow. Heating cable is arranged in partition and wall interiors. Bag compaction device is made as three wedges. Extreme wedges define right-angled triangles. Central one is made as isosceles trapezoid.
