FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining prolactin concentration in blood taken from peripheral vein of a patient before operation, after introductory anesthesia, at the stage osseous part is cut, at the stage of maximum traumatic operation risk, at the hemostasis stage and when escaping from anesthesia state. Normoreactive response type distinguished by increasing prolactin concentration after introductory anesthesia and following concentration drop to values corresponding to physiological norm state being observed, favorable development course in nearest postoperative period is to be predicted. Inverse response type distinguished by lacking increase in prolactin concentration after introductory anesthesia and following concentration drop at the stage dura matter is cut and its following growth to values exceeding the upper limit of the physiological norm being observed, complicated recovery process in the nearest postoperative period is to be predicted. EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis; early stage neuroendocrine disorders detection. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
