METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF SPECIAL VODKA "LESNAYA KRASAVITSA" Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: water is treated with activated carbon in order to remove organic impurities and mixed with rectified ethyl alcohol. Birch bark an aqueous-alcoholic infusion is prepared by a single infusing with an aqueous-alcoholic liquid followed by filtration. In the process of mixing the prepared water and rectified ethyl alcohol by indicated procedure birch bark an aqueous-alcoholic infusion filtrate of the 1-st pouring, sugar as 65.8%-th sugar syrup and activated carbon as dust-like state are added to treat an aqueous-alcoholic liquid by intense hydrodynamic stirring. This process can be carried out in injector by feeding the purified water into its vacuum cavity under pressure and injecting alcohol, sugar and carbon dust-like fraction into its flow. The ready vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal: sugar 14-16; activated carbon 0.9-1.2 and also, l: birch bark an aqueous-alcoholic infusion of the 1-st pouring 2.0-2.5 and an aqueous-alcoholic liquid - the rest. The combination of procedures of the method and set of components at their quantitative ratio ensure to improve organoleptic indices of vodka, make barely detected resinous-honey tint in its taste and aroma.
