FIELD: magnetron ovens. SUBSTANCE: magnetron oven has cooking chamber, waveguide, and microwave-frequency power generator. The latter has electron-emitting cathode, first control and electron- flow focusing grid, and choke structure used as capacitor; cathode, first grid, and choke structure form input cavity operating as resonance-tuned circuit; it also has trimmer resistor used to pass bias voltage to first grid, second grid arranged above first one and provided with many slits to pass electron beams coming through slits of first grid, anode detecting electrons passing through second-grid slits, cooling fins provided about anode to transfer heat from anode, exciting voltage source feeding cathode and anode, antenna passing microwaves through waveguide from output cavity to cooking chamber; output cavity is formed by means of second grid and anode; it also has feedback structure that functions to return part of microwave-frequency energy to input cavity. EFFECT: simplified design. 8 cl, 10 dwg
