FIELD: medicine, pathophysiology, therapy. SUBSTANCE: blood sample is taken from a finger and stained with methylene blue. Tube containing analyzed sample is heated on water bath at 98 C for 10 min, a drop of the stained content is added into Goryaev's chamber and leukocytes are counted in 100 large squares. Absolute amount of leukocytes is converted to per cents and leukocyte formula is calculated by three species of cells indicated. Method can be used in scientific researches and practical studies with students. Time consumption is decreased by 2-4-fold. EFFECT: improved method of count. 1 ex
