FIELD: mechanical engineering; lifts and elevators. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed invention, at least one end of lift cables is secured on lift guide rail. According to first design version, lift machine equipment is mounted on one of guide rails. According to second design version, both ends of cable and machine and auxiliary equipment are secured on corresponding guide rail. Thanks to it vertical forces are transmitted through guide rails to lift shaft bottom which makes it possible to lighten construction of shaft walls. EFFECT: enhanced design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
