FIELD: measurement technology; mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: contact-pressure transducer has case with circular diaphragm made of metal strength which parameters rise as a result of thermal treatment. Diaphragm is rigidly connected to case over entire perimeter. Recess of curvilinear form is made in diaphragm center from side of applied loads. Form of recess corresponds to that of surface contacting the transducer and having area at which with maximum load applied to transducer, diaphragm banding and cutting stresses do not exceed permissible ones. Bridge circuit of resistance strain gauges is positioned on diaphragm from its flat side. Transducer is provided with protective tape glued to case from flat side of diaphragm. Method of transducer manufacture is as follows. Untempered diaphragm is placed on flat surface, and recess of curvilinear form of preset depth and area is made on one of its sides. Then diaphragm is tempered, secured within case, and measuring bridge circuit of resistance strain gauges is glued to it. This construction of transducer makes it possible to reduce transducer sizes and to simplify technology of its manufacture. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 5 cl, 3 dwg
