FIELD: analytical chemistry, proximate analysis of objects of environment. SUBSTANCE: solutions of tiocarbamide, analyzed sample, o-dianisidine and hydrogen peroxide are added in sequence to ferment preparation of peroxidase immobilized in chitosan and put on to carrier. Foam polyurethane 5-30 based on oxi-ethylen and oxi-propylene ethers is used in the capacity of carrier of immobilized ferment preparation. Counting is started and time of appearance of red-color spot on foam polyurethane is recorded at moment of injection of hydrogen peroxide. Determination of mercury within concentration interval 2,5×10-6-5×10-3 μg/ml is conducted by means of graduation graph. EFFECT: simplified process, reduced time and consumption of ferment for analysis.. 2 tbl
