FIELD: medicine, particularly, neurosurgery and radiology. SUBSTANCE: device may be used in diagnostic angiography and control examinations for verifying the result of treatment performed. The device ensures accurate restoration of head primary position, prevents head shifting when its turns and simplifies procedure of repeated positioning of patient's head, which reduces time of procedure and ionizing irradiation dose to which patient and doctor are subjected. Head fixing device is made of polymeric material as rectangular base with head rest having immovable side walls which carry adjustable locks, stationary post with adjustable parietal lock, and with removable upper plate of polymeric material which carries adjustable lock. All locks are provided with millimeter rulers which allow checking of their position with respect to carrying planes. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnostics. 1 cl, 3 dwg
