FIELD: pneumatic pulsed fire fighting equipment, in particular, dispersion of liquid and powdered substances and supplying them to fire zone. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has substance ejection pipe, compressed gas reservoir and quick-acting stop valve with one end inserted into head chamber and adapted for communicating reservoir and ejection pipe which is filled with fire suppression substance to be dispersed. Stop valve is formed as hollow cylinder and adapted for closing compressed gas reservoir discharge opening at its outer side. When stop valve is opened, annular slit is defined, with flow of gas exiting reservoir being directed from center to outside. Surfaces of apparatus sealed with valve are provided with annular projection providing avalancha-like opening of stop valve and quick action. Apparatus provides effective dispersion of fire-suppression substances and increased-energy pulsed ejection of these substances due to abrupt avalancha-like opening and low weight of stop valve for less than 1 ms and decreased time of pressure growth in ejection pipe. Construction allows apparatus to be operated in controlled or automatic mode of operation with required fire suppression substance ejection pulse frequency.
