FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly, manual devices for pulsing feed of sprayed fire-extinguishing substances to fire seats. SUBSTANCE: claimed device may be used in fire-extinguishing for directed spraying of liquid and powdery fire-extinguishing substances with the help of gas medium. Device has a barrel with loading hole for supply of sprayed substance into the barrel cavity, end valve, accumulating chamber for compressed gas, valve for shutting off the working duct for passage of compressed air from accumulating chamber into the barrel cavity, means for supply of compressed air to device, and means for control of device operation. Device has gate for displacement and shutting off barrel loading hole. Gate accommodates a working channel. A part of accumulating chamber is formed by at least one surface of gate. Means for control of compressed gas flow from means of its supply is made to supply compressed air in its initial state to accumulating chamber in amount sufficient at least for displacement of gate ensuring shutting off the barrel loading hole, and for withdrawal of compressed air in its second state from the second chamber to ensure opening of shutoff valve and direction of compressed air from accumulating chamber into the barrel cavity through working channel of gate. Accommodated in accumulating chamber is means for turbulization of compressed air flow directed from said chamber to the barrel cavity, particularly, for swirling of compressed air flow. Shutoff valve and the second chamber may be accommodated inside turbulization means. Means for control of device operation may be made for prevention of changing over the means for control of compressed air flow in its second state. EFFECT: higher efficiency of extinguishing of fire flame and increased amount of fire-extinguishing substances supplied to fire seat in time unit due to reduced intervals between pulses of substance supply. 17 cl, 5 dwg
