FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, recovery of oil and water is carried out through different producing horizontal wells. Determined in bed of water-floating oil deposit is location of water-oil contact and thickness of water and oil zones in bed. First horizontal well is driven in zone of bed which is of less thickness. This well is parallel to surface of water-oil contact. Second horizontal well is driven in zone of larger thickness and parallel to first well and of length equal to length of first well. Axis of well is located in one vertical line with axis of first well. Beginning and end of horizontal section are located on same vertical axes of beginning and end of horizontal section of first well. Determined is position of separating boundary between feeding zones of two horizontal wells. If separating boundary between feeding zones of wells pass through water zone, development of bed is carried out with simultaneous recovery of liquids from first and second wells with outputs determined from condition of retaining position of separating boundary between feeding areas of wells. Position of separating boundary is determined from special formula brought forth in description of invention. Application of method ensures prolonging of waterless period of oil recovery together with increased oil output from deposit. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
