FIELD: positive-displacement machines used as pumps or compressors. SUBSTANCE: arranged in spherical cavity of housing are: central rotor 4 and sector rotors 5 and 6 connected by means of diametral hinge forming working chambers 9 and 10. Chamber-forming surface of sector rotor 5 and 6 are formed by two and more planes and by curvilinear or plane- curvilinear surfaces which increase sector-forming angle from area of diametral hinge towards peripheral spherical surface. Chamber-forming surfaces of central rotor 4 copy the respective surfaces of sector rotors 5 and 6. Intake-exhaust passages 15-18 may be provided with nozzle section of varying cross section and their axes may be tangentially inclined: intake passage 16 in direction of rotation of rotors and exhaust passage 15 in opposite direction. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced efficiency of sealing devices; enhanced efficiency of intake- exhaust passages due to their removal from bearing units; improved removal of heat from shafts; reduced dynamic and thermal deformation of central rotor. 7 cl, 4 dwg
