FIELD: cooking appliances. SUBSTANCE: when cooking appliance operates with infrared radiation sensor in full-heating mode of microwave oven, food weighing below 500 g is heated from its normal temperature to maximum value of 75 C at normal output power of 650 W (first mode). Upon expiration of time t1 within which food is heated to 75 C it is further heated and maintained hot at 90 C using lower output power of 350 W (second mode).
