FIELD: pipe purging of solid deposits in chemical, power, machine-building and other industries, applicable, in particular, for purging of pipes of condensers from carbonate deposits. SUBSTANCE: it is good practice to use the device for purging of pipes having any interior surface, wavy uneven one with a small thickness of deposits inclusive. Purging is accomplished by moving in the pipe of the device, having body 1 with roller heads in the form of truncated cones attached to the end section at an angle to the pipe surface. The head rollers cut through in deposits helical splines, deepen and expand them as the device is moving in the pipe. The body has a longitudinal wedge-shaped groove dividing it axially into two (or more) parts 2 and 3, attached to which are purging members 4 and 5. The body tail end has hole 6 communicating with the groove. Flats 7 and 8 are made on the exterior surface of the tail end, in the location of the hole. The purging members are permanently tightened to the interior surface of the pipe under treatment irrespective of the nature of the surface and at a small thickness of deposits. EFFECT: enhanced quality of purging, no need of additional accessories and special adjustment of the device at a difference of thicknesses of deposits or unevenness of pipe surfaces. 2 dwg
