FIELD: electrochemical technologies. SUBSTANCE: solution of metal sulfates saturated with sulfur dioxide is subjected to electrochemical treatment at excessive pressure of 0.3 MPa. During electrolysis, sulfur dioxide hydrolysis products are oxidized on graphite anode forming sulfuring acid. Metal settles on anode.
