FIELD: medicine; controlled stimulation of biologically active areas of skin. SUBSTANCE: device has thermally active element in the form of handle-mounted thermal module. Hot and cold junctions of the latter are, essentially, relatively alternating concentric n and p rings. Junctions are interconnected by means of metal junction rings. Hot and cold junctions of thermal module are provided with heat sensors and automatic controller. Device is pressed to active point on skin. Electric current passed from positive to negative electrode sets up temperature difference between hot and cold junctions. This difference is proportional to magnitude of current. Automatic controller functions to control temperature by means of sensors and to maintain desired differential temperature between junctions. EFFECT: improved precision of local thermal action. 2 cl, 3 dwg
